You do not need an account or payment. SvenskaVardag does not maintain an online learner profile. Progress is kept in this browser on this device. It is not automatically synchronized between phones or site addresses.
What this browser saves
A database in your browser (IndexedDB) holds completed lesson IDs, saved word IDs, answer attempt totals, correct and incorrect totals, review dates, the current lesson step and self-review completion. Local storage holds preferences such as your language, learning goal and colour theme. Older localStorage progress is retained as a migration/recovery copy. New progress uses IndexedDB and does not synchronize between devices.
Typed answers and writing drafts are not saved as progress or sent to SvenskaVardag. Writing drafts remain in memory during the visit and clear on reload. Speaking activities do not use your microphone or record audio. On a shared device, another person using this browser can see its saved progress.
Your controls
Progress has a confirmed Reset progress action. To remove all site data, including preferences and older records, use your browser's site-data settings for this address. Clearing data can permanently remove progress; there is no server copy to recover. If storage is blocked, learning can continue but progress may last only for the visit.
Pronunciation and network requests
Pronunciation starts only when you choose to listen. The browser receives authored Swedish text and prefers a local Swedish voice. When only a remote voice is available, the browser or operating-system provider may process that text according to its own settings. No learner-written draft is passed to the speech player.
Pages, fonts and learning data are served as static files. The hosting provider can receive ordinary request information such as your IP address. Its operational logging is separate from the local learning record.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics loads only if you accept analytics cookies. Rejecting keeps it off. Change your choice through Privacy and cookie settings on learning pages. Google receives page visits and device information; advertising consent stays denied. The analytics privacy page explains cookies and withdrawal.
Feedback references
Report a mistake opens an email draft containing the authored lesson, activity or library topic ID. No answers, progress, storage contents or unrelated page query parameters are attached. Your email is sent only if you choose to send it.
Email delivery setup is awaiting verification. If you send feedback, the email provider and SvenskaVardag receive your email address and message to respond. Please do not include personal details, immigration documents or progress backups.
